Coral Gables Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is an 87 bed, duly certified (Medicare/Medicaid) rehabilitation center conveniently located only a few miles from Kindred Hospital.  It is designed not as an end-point facility, but rather is a place where guests receive rehabilitation and recovery care to prepare them to return home. Your recovery begins with a skilled and knowledgeable team trained on state-of the art technology and equipment. It is our privilege to make our patients as comfortable, independent and healthy as possible by providing dignified, compassionate, and individualized care.

Our services:

• Skilled nursing and specialized rehabilitative services

• Inpatient and Outpatient physical,  occupational, speech therapy. Restorative therapy is offered to our long term residents. 

• Social services, counseling, transitional care and discharge planning

• Psychological and psychiatric care

• Pharmaceutical services (with assurance of accurate acquiring, receiving, dispensing, and administering of drugs)

• Individualized dietary services

• Professionally directed program of activities to meet the individual needs

• Emergency dental services (and routine dental services to the extent covered under the state plan)

• Room and bed maintenance services

• Routine personal hygiene items and services

• Complimentary home assessments for individuals who live alone in preparation for discharge

Individuals may be charged for:

• Private room, unless medically needed

• Beauty parlor: cosmetic and grooming items and services in excess of those included in the basic service

• Personal clothing

• Personal reading materials

• Gifts purchased on behalf of a resident

• Flowers and plants

• Social events and activities beyond the activity program
